Abstract

In the early phase of T1DM, the prevalence of such abnormalities are unknown. We analysed ECG features in young T1DM patients and in controls. onger mean ura on vs con ro s: 98.7±14.3 vs 90.8±11.1 ms (P<0.001) (Figure 1) higher mean ventricular rate (Vr): 79.8±14.0 vs 65.2±12.3 bpm (P=0.05) greater prevalence of abnormal (13.6% vs 3.6%, P=0.01) and minor (27.7% vs 14.6%, P=0.03) IVC compared with matched controls represent possible signs of early, preclinical heart involvement.
