Abstract

Occlusions in the iliac, femoral, or popliteal arteries were demonstrated by intravenous radionuclide peripheral arteriography in 10 patients with occlusive arterial disease; 20 control subjects were also studied. The resolution of the images lacked the quality obtained with contrast arteriography. This simple, noninvasive procedure facilitates serial studies and quantification. It may provide valuable objective information in patients with occlusive arterial disease.
