Spontaneous coronary dissections are rare. We report 5 patients with spontaneous coronary artery dissections diagnosed by intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). None had angiographic dissections, and most dissections appeared as modest angiographic stenoses without any other specific morphologic findings.
