Abstract

The work summarizes both the results of many years of research by the author and his collaborators, and the ideas available in the literature. The principles of classification of intrauterine infections (IUI) and approaches to their laboratory and morphological diagnosis are discussed. Original schemes for various infection options are presented. Characteristics of both the most well-known and less studied etiological formsof IUI are given.
