Abstract

The development of high-sensitivity laser methods of investigating the kinetics of various processes in matter is of significant interest for solving many problems in physical and chemical kinetics. One of the ways to improve the sensitivity is the application of the intraresonator measurement technique [i]. The use of a CW laser with narrow line-width for kinetic measurements is especially promising, since in this case all the information about the studied process is contained in the time dependence of the output intensity. A series of experimental papers [2-5] have been done in this direction, however, their methodological plans are based on examining only a few special cases. The detailed theoretical analysis of measurements using CW CO 2 lasers is done in [6-8].
