Abstract

Background and Objectives: Scarring of facial soft tissue is inevitable after removal of facial cutaneous lesion. Although basic surgical principles in handling and suturing facial soft tissue to minimise the adverse scarring process is well established, patients with high risks of keloid scar or potential visible scar on the face are often undesirable. In order to minimise or avoid postoperative visible facial scars, we approached facial skin lesions with an intraoral approach in selected patients.
