Best corrected distance and near visual acuity, operative complications, early and late postoperative complications. in 95% of patients with eye length 26-28 mm visual acuity of 0.5 or more was achieved. The mean postoperative spherical equivalent was -0.8 D. Posterior capsule opacification which required Nd: YAG capsulotomy developed in 19% of eyes, on average after one year of follow-up. No complications such as retinal detachment, glaucoma or corneal dystrophy were observed.
