Abstract

The pathogens commonly associated with BRD in the calf include bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), bovine herpes virus 1 (BHV-1), parainfluenza 3 virus (PI3), bovine virus diarrhoea virus (BVDV), Mycoplasma dispar, Mycoplasma bovis, Ureaplasma spp., Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Arcanobacterium pyogenes and Dictyocaulus viviparous as well as a number of less commonly isolated pathogens.
