Abstract

The mean-square amplitudes of in-plane and out-of-plane atomic vibrations for the bonded CC, CO and NO distances were studied on the basis of X-ray diffraction data for 6-N,N-diacetylaminochrysene and 2,4-dinitrobenzoic acid. The effect of specified internal torsional molecular motions was examined in terms of the one-parameter model of Dunitz and White.
