Abstract

Papular acne scars are difficult-to-treat anetoderma-like compressible soft papules occurring as sequelae of inflammatory acne lesions over the nose and chin. Conventional treatments for acne scars such as fractional lasers and punch techniques are not effective for papular acne scars. Ablative radiofrequency on the surface of the scar frequently leads to postinflammatory hyperpigmentation and scarring.
