Abstract

A patient with primary intradural spinal hydatid disease presenting with complete paraplegia is described. The diagnosis was made at operation. The patient did not have any clinical evidence of visceral or extradural hydatid lesions. This, we believe, is the first case of primary spinal intradural hydatid disease reported from India.
