Abstract

AbstractPurpose There are facts and myths. The fact is, that the orbital cerebrospinal fluid pressure (CSF‐P) is the real counter‐pressure against the intraocular pressure across the lamina cribrosa. The myth is that an abnormally low orbital CSF‐P is involved in the pathogensis of normal‐(IOP)pressure glaucoma.Methods The talk will present the results of recent studies which may shed some light on the question wherther CSF‐P is related to glaucoma
