Abstract

Conclusion: Increasing nitrogen gas flow lead to an increase in nitrogen incorporation in the deposited polymer. Compared to SS improved biocompatibility with lower thrombogenicity (static/flowmodels) and enhanced HCAEC attachment was seen with N10 samples. This novel high nitrogen polymer shows promise as a biocompatible coating for coronary stents. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.hlc.2013.05.486
