Abstract
Synovial ganglions, common soft tissue tumors of the hand and wrist, typically occur in the dorsal and volar aspects of the wrist but intra-articular cases are rare. We present a case of a 27-year-old equestrian with persistent left wrist pain, diagnosed with an intra-articular radiocarpal synovial ganglion after failed conservative management. Arthroscopic resection led to complete resolution of symptoms and functional recovery. This case highlights the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges posed by intra-articular synovial ganglions and underscores the efficacy of arthroscopic intervention in such cases. While literature on this specific presentation is scarce, our experience advocates for arthroscopic resection as an effective treatment strategy for intra-articular synovial ganglions refractory to conservative measures.
