Abstract

Intestinal neuronal dysplasia type B (IND-B) is a rare neuromuscular, dysmotility disorder that typically affects the lower gastrointestinal tract, commonly presenting as chronic constipation in children. We present the first pediatric case report of successful surgical management of IND-B affecting the duodenum as a likely chronic adaptive sequela to prior obstruction from superior mesenteric artery syndrome.
