Abstract
This text is a transcript of tape recordings made by members of the CCAS Friendship Delegation to China during their four-hour interview with Premier Chou En-lai on July 19th, 1971, in the Great Hall of the People, Peking. It is as full and complete as possible given the condition of our tapes, which had inaudible words and sentences. Some sections or words were difficult to distinguish: our reconstruction of them was part memory, part guesswork, part translation of the Chinese when this was audible and the English translation was not.
