Abstract

Strategic supervision not only involves the planning and implementation of therapeutic directives but also may involve the use of strategic interventions with the supervisee. Examples are given of such strategic supervisory interventions. The illustrations are taken from a training year at the Family Therapy Institute of Washington, DC.
