Abstract

Objective To explore the intervention effect of adaptation-system dual model evaluation in the perioperative nursing for patients with prostate cancer surgery. Methods Eighty patients with prostate cancer who were treated in our hospital from February 2015 to February 2017 were divided into two groups according to the random number table method, 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine perioperative nursing, while the observation group received perioperative nursing based on adaptation-system dual model evaluation. Compared SDS score, SAS score, and quality of life score of the two groups after the intervention. Results The SDS and SAS scores in the observation group after nursing were (47.20±4.22) points and (47.87±2.95) points, respectively, which were lower than those in the control group [(55.78±4.62) points, (54.65±3.45) points] (P<0.05). The scores of urinary tract symptoms, intestinal tract symptoms, treatment-related symptoms in the observation group after nursing care were (78.56±8.63) points, (80.58±10.12) points, and (75.55±7.69) points, respectively, which were higher than those in the control group [(55.48±8.55) points, (50.12±9.19) points, (58.45±7.55) points], the score of sexual life in the observation group was (51.73±8.32) points, which was lower than that in the control group [(82.12±5.15) points], with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion Adaptation-system dual model evaluation has significant effects on reducing negative emotions and improving quality of life in the perioperative nursing for patients with prostate cancer surgery, and is worth promoting. Key words: Adaptation-system dual model evaluation; Prostate cancer; Perioperative period; Negative emotion; Quality of life
