Abstract

AbstractInterval-valued fuzzy sets (IVFSs) can effectively represent and simulate the uncertainty and diversity of judgment information offered by decision-makers (DMs). In comparison to fuzzy sets, IVFSs are highly beneficial for expressing vagueness and uncertainty more accurately. As a result, in this research, we offer an advanced approach with interval-valued fuzzy parameterized multi fuzzy N-soft set of dimension q (briefly, d(N,q)-set) by introducing its induced interval-valued fuzzy parameterized hesitant N-soft set (simply, h(N,q)-set) as an extension of the multi-fuzzy N-soft set (MFNSS) based decision-making method (DMM). MFNSS is a fantastic and useful tool to deal with decision-making problems (DMPs), but it has some limitations to solve group-DMPs, but the constructed method in this chapter is very advantageous for group-DMPs. The new structure combines the advantages of multi fuzzy sets (MFSs) with those of N-soft sets (NSSs) and IVFSs, these three structures that have received a lot of attention in current years. To demonstrate the applicability of our methodology in practical situations, some examples are used.KeywordsSoft setN-soft setHesitant soft setDecision makingFuzzy set
