Abstract

The problem of interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy sampled-data stabilization is addressed for nonlinear continuous-time systems with time-varying delay and parameter uncertainties. The input-delay approach together with free-weighting and slack matrices is utilized to enforce the stability analysis, and a sufficient condition is formulated. Based on the condition, an IT2 fuzzy sampled-data controller is developed such that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable. Illustrative examples are used to manifest the merits of this design.
