Abstract

In this chapter, bisexual Christians from both the UK and USA discuss how they perceive themselves, both in terms of sexual orientation and spirituality, and whether they find role models within the teachings and sacred writings of the church. Amongst the subjects covered here are conceptualisations of bisexuality, faith and concepts of the Divine (including bisexuality in Scripture), self-actualisation and coming out narratives, with the latter including both parental and church reactions to identifying as bisexual.
