Abstract

This article intends to reflect on women & HIV/aids, with emphasis on the concept of intersectionality. The proposal is given not only because of the need to question the process of feminization of HIV/aids, but also because the perception of how race and class intersect with gender. The triad gender, race and class make women not only more vulnerable to the infection but also determines more difficulties in accessing and health care. For this, will be used partial data from the master's research in course titled “Incidences of patriarchy for the vulnerability of women to HIV”.
