Abstract
A case of complete interruption of aortic arch with aortico-pulmonary septal defect and intact ventricular septum in a teenage girl is reported in detail. She had right pulmonary artery banding at age nine years and has been doing quite well, leading a relatively active life. A total of 158 cases were reported in the literature. Intact ventricular septum is rare and only eight cases have been recorded. Aortico-pulmonary septal defect was present in three cases and no cases were similar to the present. Seventy-six percent died before one year of age and only five lived more than ten years.
