Abstract

Formulation of the problem. Religion, being a special form of social consciousness, influences interfaith and interethnic relations and, as a result, the social stability of the whole society. In these conditions, the importance of interfaith dialogue for strengthening the spiritual basis of peaceful coexistence is growing. Modern experience shows that cultural, social, religious, and other important factors in the development of society have an increasingly serious impact on the overall socio-political stability both at the regional and international levels. The further development of interreligious and intercultural dialogue between different confessions is becoming more and more urgent for successful cooperation on issues of concern to society.
