Abstract
1. Norepinephrine and serotonin lower the LH-RH content in the medial eminence and in the synaptosomal fraction of the medial-basal hypothalamus of intact animals. 2. The action of the investigated monoamines on the content of LH-RH, both in the synaptosomes of the MBH and in individual nuclei, is steroid-dependent.
