Abstract
The study was conducted in the Mediterranean part of Turkey, on the commercial important strawberry cultivars grown under Spanish type high tunnels during 2015-2016. Macro and micro plant nutrients of 180 leaf samples, were analysed in the intense growing period at monthly intervals and determined by standard methods. The interrelation of plant nutrition was evaluated using the Pearson correlation coefficient with 5% significant level. According to our findings, the calcium nutrition was significantly positive correlated with magnesium and potassium (p<0.01). Except for this correlation, no relation was found between nitrogen and phosphorus, while zinc and copper were positively correlated. They decreased with increasing of the N and Mg content, that being structure of chlorophyll in the strawberry leaves. Moreover, the iron and manganese concentrations were positively correlated. This study reflects the interrelation among plant nutrients used for important physiological processes. Thus, plant growing may be better controlled with management of suitable fertilization.
