Abstract

The aim of this study was to find the relationship between the state of mental health, the functional state of the body systems and indicators of hormonal homeostasis in female combatants who have concussion. The revealed statistically significant deviations in the indices of autonomic regulation, the level of progesterone, cortisol and prolactin, as well as the integral indicator of pathology in comparison with civilian women. It has been proven that military women, combatants who have suffered a concussion, have real health problems caused by the influence of both the head injury itself and the stress factors associated with military service. This requires the development of a program of medical and psychological support for military service women providers and appropriate medical and psychological rehabilitation of veterans, aimed at their full adaptation to a peaceful life.
