Abstract
We present a Fourier analysis of the average ‘velocity’ of the moving line spectra of SS433. An interpretation of the Fourier co-efficients in terms of a very general geometrical model and the light travel time effects required by the finite size of the system is presented. It is found that these effects are present and are statistically significant at the 1.6σ level. Implications of this effect are discussed.
