Abstract

A problem of monochromatic electromagnetic wave diffraction by a perfectly electrically conducting (PEC) surface of rotation located in an infinite homogeneous isotropic medium is investigated. The problem is reduced to sets of hypersingular and singular integral equations which is solved by the method of discrete singularities [1], using interpolation type quadrature formulas. From the solutions of these sets the scattered electric field expression and the scattering patterns is obtained.
