Abstract

We substantiate that the base diagram method, due to its sufficiently accurate evaluation of the deviations of certain portions of the experimental diagrams from the corresponding portions of the constant base ones, significantly improves the efficiency of using the creep rupture strength data for various heats of steels and alloys to specify the features of their long-term softening.
