Two experiments investigated the relationship between outcome value, subjective certainty, and trust behavior, using a nonzero-sum game and a Communication Questionnaire which investigated factors related to self-disclosure. The results showed strong support for the relationship between subjective certainty and trust behavior and weak support for the relationship between outcome value and trust.
