Abstract
ABSTRACT. This article is based on two main parts. The first one assumes that enterprises' interoperability needs partners' information systems interoperability. It also aims at defining interoperability in order to project that definition on IS concept (to identify concrete requirements for interoperability of IS). From these conclusions, it is possible to propose a collaborative information system centralizing interoperability constraints (such as data conversion, applications management or process orchestration). The second part of the article deals with the design of such a system and presents the proposed approach, based on logical and physical architectures. These exposed practices are compliant with MDA concept and the translation rules concerned prefigure a potential tool for design support.
