Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) technology is being developed along with the smart power grid to make our daily life smarter. The visions of smart grids and IoT have been lately combined into the Internet of Energy (IoE). The IoE is an Internet-based smart grid that integrates technologies of energies and Internet. IoE is network where power sources are interfaced to smart grid. This paper presents a brief introduction to the Internet of energy.
