Abstract

The study examines papers published during 1996-2015 related to Internet marketing in tourism. After preliminary search, 594 papers related to Internet marketing. If adding keywords 'tourism' or 'travel', only 162 papers remain in the archive. Next, the papers sifted out are statistically analyzed in terms of essential backgrounds. Then, papers are explored and classified into four categories. Finally, the cited number of each paper, standing for theme attraction and affection, is acquired from Google Scholar. The result is expected to have great referral value for future academic research directions, give some hints for the authorities and the highly related industry.
