Abstract

The first six years of the 21st century has continued to witness an increase in the application and use of Information Technology (IT) in almost all human endeavors. Globally, the Internet in the IT / Telecommunications industry has continued to take centre stage and will continue to do so into the foreseeable future. Hence, governments formulate regulatory frameworks for the internet to be accessible to all. This paper examines the impact of the law on internet diffusion through a comparison of Nigeria and United Kingdom.
