Abstract
Applications of reverse engineering for speeding up a product realisation process have gained momentum in recent years. The Internet has found increasing applications in manufacturing. Internet-based reverse engineering takes advantage of these areas. This paper presents the methodology of Internet-based reverse engineering, and a case study illustrates its applications in integrating CAD and CAM.
