Abstract
The article focuses on the 10th International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners Symposium which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2006. The symposium consisted of a daily plenary session followed by concurrent sessions covering the scientific, clinical and fundamental aspects of oncology pharmacy practice. Topics covered included molecular oncology, paediatric and geriatric perspectives, supportive care, clinical research, cytotoxic handling and occupational exposure, monitoring patients, advances in specific tumours and medication error prevention.
