Abstract

The International Symposium on Earth Gravity Models and Related Problems was held in St. Louis, August 16–18, 1972. One hundred and forty‐seven scientists from the United States and nine other countries attended this meeting, which was divided into six sessions. The meeting itself was designed to bring together scientists interested in the determination of the earth's gravitational field and the geodetic and geophysical applications and implications of such determinations.
