International student enrollment predictions: Don't count the U.S. out yet

Abstract

There has been no shortage of dire predictions about the state of future international student enrollment in the U.S. Several international deans and recruiters, myself included, predicted that the impact of the pandemic would only exacerbate what had been declining international student enrollment for several years.
