Abstract

With the introduction of international business programs, American Universities have emphasized the development of international training. With the increasing number of students in these programs, it is important that training efforts be effective. This study reports on a survey that focuses on understanding the international scene in the nation's capital. Results identify the perceived weaknesses and problems of Washington area university students in learning and applying international business, and suggestions regarding how international business educators can become more effective in enhancing the relevance of international business concepts for students are discussed.
