Abstract
It is the privilege of the International Organizing Committee of the World Apheresis Association (WAA) and the American Society for Apheresis (ASFA) to invite our colleagues to the 10th Congress of the World Apheresis Association, hosted by the American Society for Apheresis in conjunction with its 25th Annual Meeting. This international meeting is scheduled for May 4th through May 8th 2004 at Loew’s Miami Beach Hotel, Miami Beach Florida, USA. The meeting program, which features the best of American and International apheresis medicine, will provide plenary presentations of the state of the art in therapeutic and donor apheresis, a comprehensive education program, featured lectures, and abstract presentations. The program, as well as the incomparable social environment of South Beach, provides a meeting designed to attract physicians, scientist and allied health professionals in the field of apheresis. Alvaro Pineda, MD, is President of the 10th WAA Congress, Peter Ivanovich, MD, FRCP, is President of the WAA and Patricia Golden, RN, HP (ASCP) is General Chair of the 25th ASFA Annual Meeting chair the International Organizing Committee.
