Abstract
The mission of the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) is to assist developing countries in increasing food production through increased and more efficient use of fertilizers. To this end, IFDC has conducted training programs and implemented technical assistance activities designed to develop and transfer fertilizer technology appropriate to the needs of farmers in the tropics and subtropics. IFDC is committed to helping developing countries to strengthen all components of their fertilizer sector to ensure sustainable crop production through the efficient supply and use of fertilizer.
