Abstract
The sixth meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee was held in Washington from June 9 to 11, 1947. Action was taken to provide the basis for a permanent secretariat to compile statistics and lend continuity to the work of the Committee, and L. A. Wheeler (United States) was reelected chairman of the executive committee. The next meeting was scheduled for Cairo in April, 1948.
