Abstract

The Fifth International Conference on Advances in Nuclear Science and Engineering (ICANSE-2015) has been successfully conducted in Bandung Institute of Technology campus, Bandung, Indonesia, at 18-20 November 2015. This conference has been organized by Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB, Indonesia). This conference was also supported by Indonesian Journal of Physics (IJP). This conference aims at summarizing recent research activities relevant to the advanced development of application in the nuclear science and engineering and facilitate communication among relevant experts.About 100 persons from Indonesia, Japan, Turkey, Korea, and Rusia have been participated in this conference. About 70 presentations including 8 invited talk were presented. The presentations are grouped into 7 areas of particular interest: (1) : Innovative NPP, (2) Fuel Cycle and Waste Management, (3) Simulation and Computation, (4) Radiation and Biophysics, (5) Thermal Hydraulic and safety, (6) Nuclear Physics, and (7) Nuclear Materials and general subject related to nuclear.From about 40 full papers submitted after the conference for publication in IOP conference proceedings, after peer review process by Relevant Experts, 29 papers were accepted for publication in this proceedings.
