International collaboration in producing and using standard specimens

Abstract

Data are given on the first steps in organizing collaboration over standard specimens in various international organizations including the ISO and International Organization of Legal Metrology. The state of the collaboration is briefly examined, in particular, the recent collaboration in COOMET and within the framework of the Intergovernmental Council on Standardization. Metrology, and Certification of the CIS countries. Some results and tendencies in international collaboration are reported.
