Abstract

The thesis examines the correlation between international- bilateral investment laws with comparative public law in the EU and the difficulties in international investment disputes. The main focus is on how the author outlines investment legal instruments, approaches that could make the EU’s investment policy compatible with bilateral investment treaties, international private law with consequences of establishing state/investor dispute resolution system in comparison with the impact of investment tribunals (arbitral) and soft law.
