Abstract
PREFACEInternational Academic Conference “The state, trends and problems of development of the oil and gas potential of Western Siberia” (IAC OIL AND GAS 2017) is an annual conference which offers a place for participants to present and to discuss their innovative recent and ongoing research and theoretical work and/or their applications.The first “IAC OIL AND GAS” was held in Tyumen, Russia in 2017. The second conference (IAC OIL and GAS) will be held in late 2018. The second conference (IAC OIL and GAS) will be held in late 2018. The organizer will be the company “NeftePAK” or Tyumen industrial University. The conference provides useful and convenient platform for researchers and engineers to present their latest research results and exchange ideas in a wide range of advanced technologies in the oil and gas industry. The conference participants were from leading oil and gas organizations and institutions.64 reports were submitted. After a thorough review, 42 articles were accepted. Finally, 36 papers are collected in this IAC OIL AND GAS 2017 conference proceeding. This process covers a wide range of issues in the field of oil and gas Geology, drilling of oil and gas wells, geological 3D modeling of hydrocarbon deposits, as well as hydrogeology.
