Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) The process of internalizing the values of nationalism in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education, (2) The factors that influence the process of internalizing the values of nationalism in the learning of Pancasila and Citizenship Education in class X SMA Negeri Gondangrejo. This research uses qualitative research methods with a single fixed case study approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques by interview, observation, and document analysis. The data validity used data triangulation and method triangulation. The results showed that the process of internalizing the values of nationalism in PPKn learning in class X SMA Negeri Gondangrejo through three stages, namely the learning planning stage, learning implementation, and learning assessment. The learning planning stage is carried out by integrating the values of nationalism in the syllabus and lesson plans. The implementation phase of internalization learning is carried out by using an approach presenting cultural aspects in PPKn learning without changing the curriculum and scientific structure. The process of internalizing the values of nationalism in PPKn learning at SMA Negeri Gondangrejo is influenced by factors including supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include the 2013 curriculum, learning materials, learning methods, and teacher competence in managing to learn, a heterogeneous school environment. Inhibiting factors in the process of internalizing the values of nationalism in PPKn learning include internal factors and technical factors, and internal factors include students' interest in learning about PPKn subjects.
