Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and know the achievement of the objectives of the internalization of Islamic values in school culture. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, conducted at SMP. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The research instrument was in the form of guidelines for conducting observations, assist sheets for interview guidelines and complete notes on the required data. Validity test uses triangulation by comparing observational data with interview results and comparing observational data with documentation results. While the data analysis technique is through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the internalization of Islamic values in the school culture went well through the value transformation stage, the value transaction stage and value transinternalisation stage by instilling faith in the form of submission or complete trust in God stilling worship values in the form of worship love and sincerity to God, and instill moral values in the form of good behaviour. The goal of internalizing values of a in the culture of the school can be achieved through three goal processes, namely the process of knowing, doing and being.
