Abstract

Moral education is necessary for modern humans in facing global challenges. Moreover, the phenomenon of the world of education is more often colored by the lack of balance between material and spiritual aspects. In Islamic education the main and main goal and the essence of Islamic education is the formation of human morals. One of the books that is widely taught in Islamic boarding schools is the book Washoya Al Aba Lil Abnaa. This book contains the most basic moral issues that are needed by every student. With the teaching of the book, Islamic boarding schools certainly hope that there will be a transfer of knowledge that can have an impact on the daily behavior of students. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of the study show that: 1) The Washoya Al-abaa Lil Abnaa book is a book that contains a teacher's will to his students regarding morals. 2) The process of learning the Washoya book at the Ar-Rohmah Islamic Boarding School is carried out with learning stages that are preceded by prayer activities, giving tawasul to the author of the book followed by reciting the qur’an, then in the process of learning the Washoya book, namely the bandongan method and lectures, 3) Internalization of values morals through the Washoya Al-Abaa Lil Abnaa book at the Ar-Rohmah Islamic boarding school are morals to Allah Swt., morals to oneself, morals to fellow human beings, and morals to the environment.
